@voshell Exactly!! Just release old concepts for cosmetics. Just to give us something new. We haven’t had a clothing refresh in a while. That would give them more opportunities to actually put time into making actual pirate clothing, not this bright, glossy stuff we have now. We want pirate gear, Rare, pirate clothing, like from a pirates life. We know you can do it. Also, give me a fiddle and a musket and I’ll never stop playing the game.

@verbalhat260014 yeah, which is sad but they may eventually come around. I just want more variety. And, give us more instruments and weapons. Muskets, pistols, and A FREAKING FIDDLE. Plz Rare, there’s already one in game, just record the music 😭

Agreed. They really need to consider catching us up with all these un-released, General, & Stand Alone cosmetics that have been displayed/teased before they continue creating and releasing newer outfits/costumes. They could also take more time in developing the newer outfits before release; this way it would build an overstock of cosmetics for them in the future. I don't think they truly understand how much the Day 1 & dedicated players who have stuck with SoT would truly appreciate the older concepts being added to the game. I know they are trying to bring new blood into the game but they need to balance out what is also going to keep the lifers from leaving as well!

I am not trying to be unfair or disrespect Rare in the slightest but these memes pretty much shore up what it seems like their priorities actually are vs. what the true pirates in the community would actually like to see

There is a fair amount of truth to these memes I won't lie. I just know they claim to want us to be immersed in the pirate fantasy and role play but costumes do not give me that aspect. There are a few costumes I don't mind; they give off a certain vibe but I want to be able to put together a pirate outfit of my own to stake my claim as a true pirate and be recognized by my appearance vs looking like everyone else. Captaincy is a start to that; but every major pirate in life had a unique look to distinguish them from the rest of the fodder.

Only 10 post away from reaching 1000 posts on possibly the oldest ongoing thread about the very core part we care so much about and hope to see mostly all of them one day in this game!

@galactic-geek I just want either more pirate character cosmetics (which like everyone wants) and new weapons. Like actual weapons. Like a musket, which could just be the eye of reach without a scope, but all new designs and damage values. Ik a lot of these have already been posted ok this forum post, but I wanted to say something anyway lol

Hopefully sooner than later (*fingers crossed); I can't be disappointed about not getting something if it doesn't exist. Every time they tease something that isn't in game it should be released within a season of the tease. Otherwise it is just cruel lol. Personally I would be more ecstatic about new outfits & cosmetics being released if they caught up on the backlog stock first. When new stuff is released now I can't enjoy it as much knowing we still have so many breathtaking cosmetics still being overlooked. I don't think it is always understood how those simpler cosmetics could actually be more appreciated overall.

@voshell you think the devs see this massive thread, and ignore it anyway? Or is it just they already have a lot of this stuff planned for the future. Weapons, instruments (fiddle, plz) and clothing.

I can't say they ignore it because we have had Rare acknowledge this post in the past and comment; but I wouldn't say they are checking back on a regular basis for ideas lol

Obtaining the Umbra tattoo set was such a fun adventure! Would love to see a similar thing done to obtain a different full body tattoo

Is that a completely black belt and completely black boots with silver??? We can't have that, heresy!!!

On a more serious note, there can be so much plain cosmetics like this that don't need to be flashy/ultra colourful which would make so many people happy. My personal problem with the cosmetics is that not that much colour combinations are explored: blue is almost extinct, black and silver is also one of the rarest combinations, black and red get paired SO much, green is always paired with yellow. Also, even though I would like more piraty boots, pants, belts and gloves, I think what we have in game right now is fine, I have a big problem with shirts. Some of them look WAY too plain and... tight is probably the word? Like I wish shirts would have belts over the sholders, random pockets, more buttons and stuff. This Sea Dog shirt is not bad though.

Guys, I have found something that haven't seen here, it's a 4 year old concept and I don't know if this jacket even exists but still. It's a jacket concept made by Zakia (pixel) on ArtStation. In the description it says "These images are of some of a jacket asset created as part of the IPG system (infinite pirate generator)". I just gotta say... This is an example of a proper pirate fantasy jacket that we need in game, not the wizard robes or closed messes that we have right now.

@destmor that does look pretty sick! I’d love to see one of these seasons (or monthly updates) just be a huge cosmetic drop. There’s still a bunch of sets that are missing their third color variant, on top of all the standalone piratey cosmetics that we’ve seen in trailers, promotional art and from that datemine dump back in 2018.

Nice find for sure! I like this Jacket a lot. It is funny because the other pictures are of a bunch of cosmetics still missing.

They should add gold crowns to the treasure pool; I think they were shown in earlier concepts involving the merfolk as well.

We also need more sash looking belts like this ^ released. They can also be seen in the PL hideout.

I would definitely wear that belt instead of my Ferryman Belt for my Blackdog outfit
