Hourglass: Trolls

  • This is why after 5 minutes the circle should start to shrink or the match be subject to a timer with the victory being awarded to the most aggressive player (which could be determined by adding a simple points scoring system)

  • I honestly think the whole concept of being locked in is part of the problem. If they had hourglass as part of the wider adventure where diving just matches you to an opponent for invasion but you are not locked in you'd find greater uptake. Yes people would run away from you but then they are not gaining anything. Once you were 1.5 squares away you could just re-dive for a new opponent. Those who are there for the fight would remain in the fight regardless of boundries. The massive restrictions of the mode are part of the problem in my view.

Hourglass lives within Adventure, it’s not a separate entity. Yes it’s PvP and has competitive elements but it is not a competitive mode.

    Doesn't mean it isn't competitive.
I think you have to look up the definition of competiton.

  • @ix-indi-xi take as many times as you need to re-read the post you’re quoting. Thanks.

  • @tesiccl
mb thought you said it wasn't competitive in itself. (PvP Aspect)
But yes it isn't a mode hence it shouldn't be classified as a competitive mode.
But the fights are as competitive as you get with some crews for sure.

  • @tesiccl I love people who talk about hours played in a game with no real ranking system. Like the Halo kids who flexed their progression rank but are gold 3's in actual ranked. This means nothing.
