the shadow tide wheel although cool in concept blocks the compass by the wheel and makes it harder to navigate the sea and I am hoping that Rare can fix this ship cosmetic.
They had this issue before with one of the wheels (I think Ancestral?), I'm surprised it's not something that's flagged in their design documents and tested. Hopefully, they can update the wheel appearance to fix this issue.

Hopefully they can also fix the oldest issues in the game to (Bell + sword),(sever instability), (big loot clusters lagging ship) instead of getting rid of newer issues
