Did they remove emotes?

@nic727 Hey - In the top right of the screen you can see "Sea of Thieves Beta". This was shot in the open beta pre launch.

It's weird they removed it, they worked perfectly fine.

@coolerbravo What does that have to do with anything?

Beta is supposed to have a limited feature set compared to release, in this case the Beta featured MORE emotes than what's currently available. They seemed to be working perfectly fine, now I know Rare are perfectionists about everything so maybe they took them out to further work on the animations or something which would be understandable, but they did so without letting us know why, which is really odd.

@mad-mordechai These got a tweak before launch I believe (I'm not a Dev..) and they added the "make friends" thing. I'm not sure which emote took its spot, I'd have to go back and watch old videos, but it was switched out. Maybe they will add an option to choose your emotes in the future?
