Infinite black spinning wheel loading screen? Here's how to fix:

    Does this look familiar?

    loading

    If you can communicate through voice chat while in this state to your crew, you can get back into the game without quitting.

    Ask the crew to vote you to the brig.
    Once jailed, you will finally load into the game and be in the brig.
    After a bit, they can release you.

    If you have issues, like no items/cosmetics, you need to die to reload your character (mermaid travel doesn't fix it).
    You will load properly on the ferry and can resume gameplay.

    Hopefully this post becomes irrelevant when the days of being stuck loading are in the past.

    @dyfrin glad you told this to others, ik these tricks myself but others don’t. Another thing that is possible is if your ship sank and you’re in the water while you can’t see a shark can kill you and help you to the ferry and fix everything the same way as the suggestion above.

    Edit: technically anything that kills you while loading will send you to ferry and fix th loading.

    A nice fix for Full Crews, but sloops still get screwed by this. I was slooping a few weeks ago and my buddy black screened right in the middle of a fight against a galleon after trying to get back on a mermaid. We lost that fight and I just convinced him tonight to give the game another try, and he black screened twice during a skull fort.

    Thanks for sharing the fix, sadly it can't work for sloops. It really isn't acceptable that this bug is still around since it is such a problem, I initial time I encountered it was back when they first introduced the skeleton fleets. Given it can destroy a voyage if it happens at a bad time, and it has been going on now for nearly 6 months, this looks like the developers not caring about their game. Too many bugs have been in this game for too long.

    Aye, need at least 3 member crew to vote to brig.

    The only other option if you can see them, is killing them by:
    Put snake in basket by them.
    Detonate keg by them (and repair quick!).
    Have another player kill them.
