Cursor resetting when interacting with barrels? can we revert this?

Can we have the option to turn on or off this setting? I much prefer the cursor being saved to its location, makes looting barrels faster. Now everytime I loot I need to scroll to the item I want where as previously the cursor was already resting on the items. Its a small thing but a small step back imo. Option please :)
