Sniper "crosshairs"

That’s by design.
Most snipers (idk I never use them) have a crack across them, the center is to be assumed the crosshairs

You just need practice to find it and then it’s simple.

Then just generally try to get your target in the middle of the field of view. Headshot damage multipliers aren't a think in this game, so as long as you hit your target, you're going to deal damage to them.
