Account got hacked

  • Hello my account got hacked id Spartan4206105 i wrote to microsoft support they locked it from use so the hacker isnt able to use it but they cant do anything with the account so they said to contact sea of thieves support but i got only answer that they cant share info of other acc to make a ticket with the locked account but i cant access the account anymore. Is it possible to transfer sea of thieves progresss from the old hacked/locked account to this new one or is it impossible and my 600h of progress since early access is lost?

  • @funkierpigeon0 I think only support will be able to answer that, but my guess is no. Especially if you can't access the original account; it would be pretty alarming if they transferred someones progress to a different account without proof of ownership.

    You might need to contact Microsoft support to try to get the original account back.

  • If they locked the account for you wouldn't that mean they had enough info from you to get them to do that? Meaning you should have a chance to recover?

    I don't see why they would assist with a lock but not a recover.

    Getting info to microsoft to show that you have a history on the account should help recover it, if it was a private account with real info on it.

  • Very unlikely they’ll transfer progress, but if you can recover your hacked Microsoft account then that’s your best bet to the progress back.

  • Hello thanks for responding yee i contacted microsoft support they locked the account once i proven that its my account but then they said they and i quote " Unfortunanetly during the investigation process we found that your security infor has been changed , when security features are updated on acc we are unable to assist in account recovery as these types of updates and/or removal are completly out of our control but they locking the account so the hacker cannot use it , then the next day i made another support ticket of course and they confirmed that my account was locked but they cant assist in tranfering emails and to contact sea of thieves support, i did that and the first response from Sea of Thieves response was we cannot legally discus another person account with you due to our privacy and data protection laws if your friend and family has an issue they will need to contact us themselfs in this case you need to reach out from the banned/suspended account how can i reach them if i cant accses my account anymore nor the hacker as i got it locked so now on sea of thieves support they are saying to contact microsoft support and on the microsoft support they are saying to contact sea of thieves support... i guess my 600h of sea of thieves adventures are over as for 1 week i am trying to get my acc back even ubisoft reseted the email from the stolen account and got it back to me...
