DISCLAIMER: This is not intended to be a suggestion or proposal, but rather a food for thought post from my curiosity.
As someone who started sailing more consistently during Season Eight, I've always been interested in what it would be like to play Arena. While I understand some of the reasons for removing Arena, I don't think the mode being axed entirely was the right solution. It punishes newer players with FOMO and older players who enjoyed the gamemode. Right now, I can understand Rare not having any plans to bring the mode or even the Sea Dogs back, and I think they must focus on the sandbox first, but I still want to know.
If Arena came back in the distant future as a mode only playable for a week (or on a weekend) every month, or even a season if necessary, would you try it? I would love to see a small test run of the gamemode, even if it's just for a week or so, and then it is never seen again.
