While playing with a PuG (pick up Group) Crew, I was disconnected. Upon reloading the game I realised there was no option for me to try and reconnect to the crew I was playing with.

This was particularly frustrating as I had pout in about 3-4 hours with them. and we had 8 x gold chests, 3 x skulls, and a bunch of chickens and pigs to hand in. So I lost 3 hours worth of time and rewards because the server dumped me, and there is no option when reconnecting to rejoin your previous crew.

As mentioned they were not know friends, it was just a random crew I originally joined and we worked together for some time to build up a stockpile of treasures to hand in.

PLEASE can you make it so that if you are disconnected during play that you have the option to reconnect with the last crew you were playing with. PLEASE . I like the game, but if this keeps happening its going to get pretty darn annoying.

What, you want a functioning party system like in every other multiplayer game? Less is more, just use your imagination and pretend you are with the same crew.

@lluoskrad This would be exploitative towards people who join crews who are not wanted that means you're locking the entire crew instance to that set of people meaning nobody else can join and could literally cause a team to lose a Skull Fort etc so sadly that wouldn't work out such as it does on PubG

Maybe they should of launched with a invite party system(with random pick up if needed), like pretty much every other multiplayer game ever created.

@captain-lumbo Not really. there is a 'kick' function in the game so the crew could kick anyone they don't want in the team. Lets face it, if I've put in 3 hrs worth of work with them and they have not kicked me, then its safe to say they want me back

@entspeak I didn't expect to get dumped by the server, and I didn't write down their names. but then I shouldn't have to.

@lluoskrad There isn't a kick function in the game so that makes no sense please make actual factual points instead of pure lies.

Few hours; gotcha there, that's why there's no grog refill in the brig!

Anyways yeah they need that function on PC, should be easy to implement into the Xbox app or whatever.. I stalk people from days ago! I mean hey inv for crew! :)

What does suck is that alt-tabbing in Fullscreen to go to the Xbox app (or for any other reason) causes you to disconnect from the server. I remember the first time I got a message from someone asking me to invite them, I kicked myself from the server in the process - lol. You have to go into the graphics settings and change it to Windowed before you can alt-tab.

I completely agree and just posted a similar request yesterday. It even applies to a solo game. If you are sailing the seas and acquire a good hoard of treasure, but then by a random disconnect lose it ALL. All that time and effort is lost in the wind. Doesn't make for a good time.

oh please help with this rare. I've had a few DC's on PC and lost a couple hours with of work
