The Flying Dutchman - Ship Bosses to fight against!

    Ahoy pirates!

    Over the past couple of days I had a Pirates of the Caribbean nights with a friend of mine and since we both play Sea of Thieves, I've came up with an idea of having a Legendary ship boss randomly spawn and fight with!

    I've made a short video on how I would like it to be shaped and I've also included some key points in this thread.

    I'd appreciate your input and your feedback regarding this idea!

    • A powerful ship that acts some sort of "raid"
    • It's a big boss. You defeat this; you're the true legend.
    • It's not threatening PvP but encouraging it. Legendary Galleons teaming up to defeat it.
    • Not a common occurrence. Once in blue moon actually but worth it.
    • Gives incentive for Pirate Legends to keep playing the game
    • Acts as a raid. Fight skeleton waves incl. bosses and face off a legendary character; Davy Jones.
    • Defeating the ship rewards you with great loot (20k - 50k gold)

    This is an incredible idea man. You could have a full skeleton crew or ghost crew manning it. Have eight cannons on each side (4 on the upper deck and 4 in the mid section) with enough enemies to man them all, plus more to patch their ship, bucket the water, etc. Make it a true Man O' War ship with, as you said, a legendary character at the wheel.

    I think it should spawn at least once a day and last until defeated. Hell... something like this might just always be a present threat that required galleons and sloops to team up. Then after the insane battle, everyone returns to their pirate ways and it's anyone's game!
