There needs to be a pvp progression based system with rewards, possibly ropes to swing off of to board enemy ships because every pirate ever has done this. And lastly, why not create a battle royale mode with progression and ship upgrades around the islands to find?

Every day a see a new post on the net, everybody want to do or play battle royale mode !!! Go on Fortnite or else guys !!!

I would have see the BR as game mode you pick when entering the game. So people would be able to play the game like it is designed right now.
But anyway it will never happens. It would take too much time to create and Rare wouldn't be able to add the contents the game needs. But maybe another company will copy the core idea of this game in make it a BR.
