Apparently in this card collection, Seamark already has an in-game model set up. Its different than the comic book but still incredible. From the bandana, beard, jacket, tattoo, gloves, belt, trousers, right down to the boots! Rare, these cosmetics are a must!

@galactic-geek Interesting. Is that only for the IPG on the insider? I have never noticed a difference for pirates using the same beards otherwise or had to ask myself what beard style someone is wearing beside NPC's.

Dang, I hope most of these cosmetics can make it into the game at some point! I don’t even mind if they’re recolors.

Agreed. The recolors don't bother me in the slightest. They also have a lot of cosmetics right in front of them that can be used; it would probably save them some time in thinking of new ideas so often...not to deter them from new ideas though.

Nice! I actually think a couple of those models were used for the ghost band in the Pirate Legend hideout

I know I have mentioned face bandages prior in this post but since we brought up the Legends hideout I have to remark about Blind Bob's face bandage while were on the topic!

I spotted another cosmetic shown in game but not a part of the pool available to us. It appears to be in relation to the Ashen Dragon set but it also a colored variation of a previous picture shown earlier in this post regarding a certain KungFu Gi looking jacket....(third NPC from the left or second NPC from the right)

Rare, just an FYI that we would be ok with you adding more random standalone cosmetics as well; it doesn't necessarily have to be just costumes or full sets. Like the above ^ aforementioned "Jacket" or the previous "Hat" (below - first NPC from the left) that was also spotted on an NPC in a pirate emporium render.

This is actually one of my favorite jackets in the game.

This eye-patch would be ridiculous! I also saw an idea about having a random Ancient Skeleton ship (sloop/galleon) spawn throughout the Sea of Thieves. Fairly interesting I must say!

I am positive I saw Hitbotc pitch that idea recently as well. It is definitely something that should be implemented! A whole crew of ancient skeletons; it could be a currency only type of loot gained, like having collectors chest with gold and nothing but doubloon pouches inside. That way you gain all three types of currency available; and maybe there could be something special, like a Box of Wondrous Secrets to top it off.

I agree. I would like to see that variety out in the open sea as well!

Having merfolk variety would be nice to see to; even if they don't implement merfolk being more involved than just appearing to bring you to your ship I would be cool with that. The variety alone would be refreshing as I believe there are only two current models for them; but they have shown more types in the past.

I would say there is at least four more types that could be included

What I love about this thread is that, a long time ago, a developer at Rare once told me, and I quote,

everything you see in the advertisements will be in the final game.

And this was long before we got rowboats, and pets, and...

So far, this thread proves that they're living up to their word. 😁

That's why I am trying to keep this thread going/growing. To keep up the reminder that in a sense they can do more with less; they don't necessarily need new ideas/cosmetics, as all of their original ideas are just as good if not better.

To be fair, there has been a few of these ideas already added to the game since they have been posted. Now, I am not saying this post was the reason behind those particular additions, but I can say it is quite the coincidence!

@miffednote201 actually the gold Hoarder skeletons are seen in the Gold Hoarder Vault missions and can spawn when you dig up a map fragment. They can also drop trinkets when you kill them.

It would however be awesome to see the coral skeletons used it something besides tall tales yes! Especially for how cool they look!

Agreed. They definitely need to incorporate some more sash type belts into the game!

Yeah he does! Definitely looks like someone you don't want to mess with on the open seas. His whole ensemble/outfit is on another level!

I still have my hopes up for Rapiers and other new weapons being added. That dream will never die!
