The Skull Clouds should let players know what kind of fort is up.

  • Nothing visually sets a guild fort apart from a regular fort. You don't know what you're going to unless you sail there, go into the tower, and peek through the floor boards. I think the skull above the fort should indicate what kind of fort it is. Like if it's a gold hoarder fort, have the eyes flash yellow. A merchant fort, have the eyes flash blue. A souls fort, have the eyes flash purple. Also I do think the amount of loot in guild forts should be upped at least a little. Maybe 25% more stuff just to feel a little better. If not that maybe take away the final Skeleton Lord boss fight just to lessen the overall completion time, since there's less payoff for completing it. I know diving cuts down on the overal time quite a bit though, so maybe that's balance enough.

  • @tedakin that’s the point, you’re not supposed to know until you make the calculated risk of going over there. Like with all elements in this game, the attacking crew has to decide if it’s worth the risk.

  • Like a X marks the spot...you dont know what your gonna dig up. Could be a chest of Gold or Skulls.

    if everyone knew what they were getting, they skip so much content.

  • Give it time. Soon, you'll know all forts are the regular ones, because the raids just aren't worth it.

  • If a ship is there, sink it and take loot. Sorted 😅
