Melee island is a lot more than it seems

Spoilers for the monkey island tall tales but you already knew that. Melee island has to be used not only does it have useful supplies but also crazy amounts of power against ghosts. I think Melee is being used secretly by none other than the true enemy. Not Flameheart but if you have read my other theory about the puppeteer this person who is theoretically in control of everything if not go to the topic called "Who is the real one pulling the strings?" but they are most likely using Melee to get more magic root beer for when the pirate lord rebels against them. So could Melee island be used for supplies for our real enemy?
