So I just jumped in to check out the new content for the Season 15 and wow It is so disappointing. And this is not just tied to this season this seems to be a trend that has been going on throughout Sea of Thieves for a while.
The Jellyfish while nice to see in the environment is nothing more than decoration? A set dressing? Why do they not sting? Why aren't they another minor threat you have to navigate around or avoid when your in the water? You could have them inside shipwrecks creating another environmental threat, or around Merfolk shrines and treasuries. Why just limit them to "wow that's pretty"
They did the same thing when they added the sirens. They could have made them like the traditional siren, where they actually sang and you lost control of your self and ended up steering into reefs and sinking your ship. All the mechanics were there to make this happen but no.
Also why is there only one variety of sharks in the game? You could at least offer a hammer head shark as a variant instead of being faced with the same old shark everytime.
So many things that could be done that require no additional mechanics that would add to the game in so many ways, I truly don't get it.
I don't mean to sound ungrateful here Rare I really don't but honestly there are some no brainer things you could be doing to improve the game and add more to it and it boggles my mind why you don't. The above are just the examples that come to mind, there are so many others, too many to name.
