@chilmus Imagine countries like Argentina (Going through economic issues)that have to pay around 90$. This is crazy...
The common thread I am seeing here is "EU". Did anyone on here ever stop to think that perhaps these countries are causing the price issue and not the company itself? Not saying that I know...because I don't. But, as of right this second $1.00 is 0.80 Euro. 1.00 pound sterling is 1.13 Euro. 60.00 Argentine peso is 2.47 euro. What these individual countries do for taxation is beyond me. Here in the states we would pay an individual sales tax based on where I live. For me that is 7.000%. That is an additional $4.20 on top of the $60 that Rare/Microsoft take. If the companies are dropping the ball on the conversion that needs to be pointed out. Perhaps the Brits in here can correct me if I am wrong...The EU has been especially punishing toward British products since Brexit. Whether that is true or not, I don't know. Just something I picked up on in a macroeconomics class last summer.
And other games, even indie ones manage to keep almost consistent prices, exactly how?..:) The price differences between countries outside of the USA is WAAAY too much. Most games I saw so far was the currency conversion plus sometimes a little extra. But here they kind of shot over that little extra...
