Frequently Asked Questions
The Hungering Deep event is a celebration of Sea of Thieves’ first ever content update, taking place as part of the game’s second anniversary celebrations. This event runs from March 20th–March 27th 2020. Pirates will be set five daily objectives to earn Doubloons while also tackling an overarching goal that spans the full week.
The event is live from 10am GMT on Friday, March 20th until 23:59pm GMT on Friday, March 27th. The daily goals will change at 12am GMT each day.
Doubloon rewards vary from day to day. If you hit your objective for the week, your pirate will be awarded 15,000 gold and the Drum of the Deep.
The rewards will be added to your account when you hit your targets! Doubloons and gold will be available for you to spend when you’ve earned them. The Drum of the Deep will be found in your Equipment Chest when you’ve defeated three Megalodons.
If you don’t receive your rewards within 72 hours, please visit the Sea of Thieves support site and raise a new support request with the team.
