The Competition of Courage is an event taking place in Sea of Thieves' in-game Arena mode over the course of three weeks. Participating pirates have three objectives to complete during this time, each offering the reward of an in-game cosmetic item from the brand new Courage Set.

This event is live from 10.00am GMT on Thursday, May 7th until 23:59pm GMT on Thursday, May 28th 2020.

If you complete a contest in The Arena during the Competition of Courage, you will be awarded the Boots of Courage. Earn 25,000 silver over the course of the competition to be awarded the Cutlass of Courage. Win 20 contests in The Arena during the competition to claim the prestigious Figurehead of Courage.

The rewards will be added to your account if you hit the stated targets within these three weeks. The Boots of Courage will be found in your Clothing Chest upon completing an Arena contest. The Cutlass of Courage will be found in your Armoury after amassing a total of 25,000 silver. The Figurehead of Courage will be found in the Shipwright's Chest when you win 20 contests.
