Six man ships

i would love to see this happen due to we are forced into hoping we can get two ships spawned on the same server or to go around and beg to buy a sloop/brig off of someone to get our friends in on the same server.

I think that a 6 man ship would be fantastic and i'm sure they could even it out to where it isn't OP. the ship itself would be huge, powerful damage wise but slow like the galleon.

i would just like the opportunity to play with all of my friends on one ship and for those that are like 'well a 6 man crew would be OP' we've had 1 solo galleon player almost sink 2 brigs and a galleon by himself. it's all in skill really and half my crew is not very skilled so we wouldn't be a huge threat lol just would be nice to all play together.

No because they could easily overpower ANY ship in game aside from a galleon.

It’s bad enough if you’re a solo sloop and get rammed by a 4 man galleon and have a 3 man boarding party on your ship, I’d rather not have my ship dunk under the water because of a massive 6 man ship ramming into her and getting one shotted by 5 swords at once thanks.

@seedy-platypus how does the length of time the game has been out correlate to the release of a 6 man ship?

I can answer that. It doesnt. If you had used the search feature you could have found a dozen+ threads about this.

The arguement for: we want to play with more friends.

The arguement against: balance.

There I summed up the next 20 to 40 replies.

The best solution for this is allow a secondd boat to be invited to a server. Cap Alliances to two boats to keep the balance. Another feature thatvwould be nice is to be able to upgrade to a bigger or smaller boat depending on crew size.

this is a really common request and yet the amount of galleons on the sea seems to be nominal. Why introduce larger ships when the largest ship is less popular?
