Game is crashing after new update

Same thing is happening to me too. I crash about every 2 minutes now with the new update. I’m on a one x using an ssd. Another person in my crew is crashing too

i have not had any issues myself, but every time someone tried to join my game through LFG, they crashed within 1 to 2 minutes. Some tried multiple times to join. Something seems to be off right now. I am on PC.

Same here. 3 persons always disconnecting on my boat.

@papkin7169 same issues here, being on a sloop seemed to be fine for an hour or two but when i switched to a galleon it crashed after about a minute of gameplay

It's been 4 hours these problems started you'd think they would been solved by now

Same issue here. Xbox one x. Has crashed 8 times now after just a minute on a brig.

Same thing here, was fine for about 10 - 20 minutes until a random crash where it said my driver crashed? And then anytime I load into game it works for a few moments and I can walk around and such but then I just crash to desktop without any error code or anything now. Just everything freezes and then boom desktop. Putting in a report right now as well.

This is affecting multiple users. Yesterday during a session I had 4 different players affected by this when joining my session. Some of them even spawned dead or without skins, but all ended up crashing back to desktop after ~20s of playing.
We tried asking one of the player to host the game instead and start from scratch, it seemed to work, but then when one player left and others tried to replace him: the same thing again, crash for every single one of them.

Was playing with a friend for 4 hours. I was host on a sloop (closed crew). I noticed the audio started hitching, cutting in and out. 5-10 minutes later the game client crashed. Since then, I 've tried rejoining my friend (same crew/ship) around 10 times now, but I crash within a minute of joining the session.

Troubleshooting Steps:

• Installed the most recent Windows update
• Installed the more recent Nvidia Driver update
• Performed an integrity check on the game client after loading the game (Windows Store version)
• Restarted computer (during Windows update)
• Disabled Xbox Game Bar
• Ensured no other overlay was active (Discord etc.)

Other Notes:

• The most recent loot that was placed on the ship before I started crashing was an ammo crate.
• After all the loot on the ship was sold, I stopped crashing.
• I was playing in Devil's Roar on a Sloop doing an Athena's with Order of Souls emissary.

Same issue for me and my buddy. Sloop. Can't join another person's session.

First few consecutive days off in a long while, and I can't use them to grind the pass due to the constant crashing on PC. Really hoping there's some sort of compensation, as I am incredibly frustrated right now.

Looks like putting in a support ticket is also warrenting a wait while they look into the problem. :c Guess all we can do is wait and hope this gets fixed soon so we can play again.
