I was on Dagger Tooth in the middle of a storm trying to access the emporium and two concurrent lightening strikes both knocked me out of the interact with the vendor. I wasn't able to process an ancient coin transaction, but this could create an issue when processing real world money. Is there a way to shield the shops from environmental damage?

Lightning has been able to knock players off of any interaction for some time, since that it spawns a small explosion at its impact point to simulate the damage it deals. This does knock you out of menus, but I believe transactions of both real and in-game money will continue regardless of if you are removed from the menu or not. Not entirely sure, and it does go through surfaces (including the deck of your ship or the roof of a building).
