Gilded Gifts from the Pirate Lord

'Tis the season to be jolly! As we approach the end of an incredible year for Sea of Thieves, the Pirate Lord has decided to reward the sheer volume of piracy displayed with a gift for every pirate who sails the seas during December, in an initiative he's calling Gilded Gifts.

Wondering what he has in store for you? Visit Duke at any Outpost tavern this month and purchase a Gilded Voyage for the fine sum of 0 Doubloons. This special voyage type with its high-value rewards will add some real holiday joy to your inventory. But choose carefully: you can only buy one!

Your voyage options are Gold Hoarders, Order of Souls, Merchant Alliance or (if you've reached Pirate Legend status) Athena's Fortune. Once acquired from Duke, your chosen voyage will be in your inventory until you decide to embark upon it. However, you'll only have one chance to complete the voyage, so think hard about when you want to tackle it and make sure you have the time to see it through! All rewards from this voyage will be worth more than the standard rate, so prepare to rake in the gold and reputation.

The pirates at the Outposts have also gotten into the celebratory spirit and have put out a sprinkling of festive decorations. A perfect backdrop for those end-of-year crew photos.

The new game features added as part of Shrouded Spoils are all permanent, so don't worry about them disappearing! The time-limited Wailing Barnacle set will be available from Duke until Gilded Gifts draws to a close at the start of January.
