Charities - Official Terms & Conditions
By purchasing this month’s No Kid Hungry premium cosmetic, the Sails of Sharing charity item, either through the Microsoft or Steam Store, you and Sea of Thieves are helping support this month’s featured Charity. Here’s how:
When you purchase the Sails of Sharing charity item between 16th October 2021 and 10th November 2021, Microsoft will donate 80% of the proceeds from each sale made via the Steam Store, and 100% of the proceeds of each sale made via the Microsoft Store, to Share Our Strength and their No Kid Hungry campaign.
Who is this month's featured Charity?
This month's featured Charity is Share Our Strength, based in the USA, committed to ending hunger and poverty. For more information about Share Our Strength and their No Kid Hungry campaign, visit www.nokidhungry.org. Share Our Strength is an organisation registered in the USA.
When will the results be published?
Rare will publish, on www.seaofthieves.com and other Microsoft social media channels, the total amount to be donated to this Charity, within 28 days of the final available date of the Charity item (campaign end date). Charity items are only available for a limited time, normally around one month.
When will the donation be made?
A single donation, totalling the amount published, will be made to the Charity within 90 days of the campaign end date.
Any queries about the donations must be made before February 28, 2022 at Sea of Thieves customer support: support.seaofthieves.com. No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this promotion or these terms and conditions. If there is a dispute regarding donations, Microsoft’s decision will be final in all respects on all purchases.
Microsoft may stop sales of a Charity item, the Campaign and/or donations to a Charity at any time.
