I am not buying a third recording option if Epic's Anti-Cheat system won't allow us to use our recording software. I KNEW using Epic's system was a bad idea from the start and now here we are.
GeForce no longer records because of Epic's EAC
@itz-majman When starting a manual recording, the pop-up says that the recording has been saved as if I finished doing one. This is also being voiced by other people right now.
Does it for me and a few others too, it starts recording then instantly stops and says recording saved but obviously doesn't save as it's recorded nothing.
I've managed to get it to record then save a couple times and it's not saving and tagging them as sea of thieves anymore it listed them as desktop for me.Season 12 has just been one problem after another for me.
Think I've had it happen to me once or twice too actually, where the recording just shuts off instantly. Thought it was just some bug with shadowplay this entire time, so I restarted the game and it eventually worked again. Tbh, even worse if it does it only sometimes

I’ve actually had this happen a few times. Most notably one night (like a week or so ago) it lasted the whole session. However, just last night I was using GeForce to record. Not sure it’s an anti-cheat issue, as I’ve been able to record 99% of the time since the anti-cheat was implemented. It might just be a GeForce thing, no idea but glad to hear it wasn’t just me.
I had some serious issues with Nvidia's shadowplay recently. It wasn't just SoT but also Baldur's Gate 3. I'd have consistent frame drops every few seconds and on SoT the game would straight up crash.
I had to move all my temporary and finished recordings to a different drive and that helped the problem. Honestly never had any issues until a recent update on the driver side.
