I've had more than 20 chests over 3 times across multiple sessions and still haven't had this achievement. Some of my crew unlocked it though :/

Same here. I've completed MANY achievements that still aren't registering. Example, got drunk, vomited last week. No achievement. Did the same today and now it shows it. I thought they recorded the ones we completely during their difficulties w/ networking

What did you count as trophies?

Lethality Crew had a total trophy count of 196 when they got disconnected. So this is a false world record. the 196 was all over reddit, so there was definite proof

Why chests? I'd go for skulls, way more decorative. Put them all over your ship and make it glow.

Uhhh... what? there is literally a picture. You may the record for the "turn in" but they have hte record for most loot on a ship. You splitting hairs and showing that you're just here for attention deying other peoples work.

Arggg, ye photos and videos make an old pirates bones tingle. What I would give to have been a shark in the waters whilst ye basked in yer "un-cashed-in" glory. I'd have slaughtered the lot of ye, and battled till me last breath for a chance to steal yer booty from under your noses. I hope I see a vessel so loaded to the gills in me near future, as I promise to give them one hell of a chase. Arrrggg Argg, "cough", Arrg.
