I'm give up. You win. I love this game so much but so many people just don't care. Just now I helped someone take down a skeleton ship and as i sailed away happy that i help them they killed me. I don't want to hear about how the game is about pirates or that's the game or anything. It's called common decency. But at least you won't have to listen to me whining anymore. I'm sorry but I just can't anymore.

@the-blessed1546 I feel you, I always try and do something nice before I head off, I actually spent an hour last night helping a random sloop do a tall tale when I only meant to give them my resources.
Unfortunately thats just people and people suck, don't give up on the game because of the majority, the minority of kind souls is what keeps me coming back, that and the updates.
If something similar happens again, as they chase you just taunt them "for shame," "is that how you treat strangers is it" "not today slowpoke" amd of course if they start insulting you "you kiss your mother with that mouth" Basically my way to not get upset about players is turn it into comedy, laugh about their actions and how silly they are.

Well its not Rare's fault you ran into a gaming jerk. You will find them in every game from every gaming studio.
I feel bad that happened. I been nice to people too for them to not appreciate, both in gaming and in real life and it sucks but I try to remember there are plenty nice people out there too. Online multiplayer games with PvP you need abit of thick skin and the ability to not get personally upset.
Im not saying this to be mean, I have seen a few of your posts and now this one I am really getting the feeling that online multiplayer games with PvP in them really do not work for your personality type. There is nothing wrong with that. Its like how some people like rock music and some like country music, ya know? I would stick to game genre's that suit you. You gave this a try and it didnt work out, there are many games out there waiting for you to give them a try.
