In Lithuanian microsoft store i cant preorder game. why is that? some region restrictions!!
Heard that you cant preorder game in Ukraine and Latvia also.
plz, solve this somehow, id love to have preorder stuff...

@wirpsha Hey, yeah we at the Baltics have that. A quick workaround is that you buy xbox digital gift cards, add them to your account and then buy it that way.
Odd thing is that live subscription works well... just cant buy games with your credit cards.
But if anyone could solve that, I´d be one happy sailor - spending money would get so much easier.You could also order it from amazon UK - this way you can order the controller aswell ;)

still asking for credit card, then preorder button disappear.@wirpsha yeah I did that a while back. You can try buying the gift cards from your local stores. They will cost the same(did for me)
@nefrit-od i changed regional settings to ireland, made credit card for buying in that country and somehow it passed me trough. but its way to difficult...

Just end chatting with Microsoft support operator about this issue. I'm living in Ukraine and my Visa card is in Grivnas, but i have no trouble to making purchase through blizzard store, steam or whatever (in other currency) :)
But some how Microsoft Store is based on region and if my card from Ukraine, i can't bought "Sea of Thieves" because there is no "Pre-order button" in Ukraine Microsoft Shop.
Support operator told me that they will work on this issue and he contact with Xbox support to let em know about it.P.S.
I've tried to make purchase from Russia region and from EU_US webpages - didn't work always rejecting payments :(
P.P.S. Will wait for them to fix this :(

There are some regions that do not permit pre-orders which is why you’re not seeing the option to preorder the game. Unfortunately Rare has no control over this so if the Microsoft Support team could not help there is nothing that can be done.
@dhg-ixxrmacxxi so i can't pre-order game, but will it be available after game launch in Microsoft Store ?
And how i suppose to get pre-order cosmetics then ?:)@nefrit-od That sounds correct, to be certain you may want to ask them and make sure it will be available on launch, but the preorder won’t be available.
Well, from what I have found, is that if you do not have access at launch, then you are SOL. This is the problem with being a microsoft exclusive game, they can only release in countries that have XBOX Live supported, and sadly, the countries that don't have the support have not had it for years, so they prob wont get it for several years.
