Yeah, i was as dissapointed as i was excited. The epic adventure and escape ended with the biggest dissapoint ment in sea of thieves.
After a epic battle. I used the skull key on another fort.
@twiejk I've done the same thing. I'll say it now as 100 others will in just a moment. "You know you can actually look through the floor boards above the treasure room....."
Feels bad man.
@augunslingin Nonsense. When you've got 3 galleons and a sloop closing in on the fort you just spent 40 minutes beating, running away with the key is the only smart thing to do.
@augunslingin well we battled respawning frenchies for hours on end. You can hear my burst of excitement when i leave the island with the key
@augunslingin Smart ones if the choice comes down to loot or no loot. Bravo that you've done a handful that all have been successful. That won't always be the case though.
@augunslingin Rubbish. My best night on this game was with a mate in a sloop and we played pirate hide and seek with a bunch of galleons. We lost track which had the key, so it turned into a huge sea battle. Was fantastic.
@daveyjay1984 I've been in the situation a few times. The last time I believe the key was ultimately stolen from us.
@daveyjay1984 I think it was 2 sloops chasing or a sloop and a galleon or something, and yea we ended up sailing through a kraken lol. The ship behind us was subsequently attacked by the kraken.
My crew was so dang salty. =)
@blackbeard-lufy So were we after we managed to steal it, loot the room and then board our ship to find another galleon bearing down on us. Thought we might get clear and one had somehow managed to board and dropped our anchor. I got the loading screen of death but when my mate respawned, he said there was another battle going on between two galleons.
@twiejk that's hilarious, i was thinking of that and thankfully did look through the floor first to make sure haha.
Sorry for your loss lol
