  • @plebochino definitely looks like it's time for an upgrade. SoT can be taxing even on high end hardware.

With current pricing, you can put together a Ryzen 5 1500, 16 GB 2133 RAM, GeForce GTX 1060, 2 TB 7200 RPM HDD & 126 GB M.2 (m) SSD for about $550 (depending on how good of a job you do pricing your parts) not including cost of power supply and case (can probably reuse the ones you have now, just make sure it fits).

For the price, it's not bad at all and should run the game better.

  • @xcalypt0x But my sisters pc runs the game like I want and it has around 80 fps. She has a better GPU and CPU and I'm gonna get RAM soo. I dont really know if I need to upgrade that much.

Her CPU and GPU is not much better than mine soo.

But yeah I have been thinking about upgrading to 1060 like you said :)

  • @plebochino Do you know the specs for the monitor you and your sister is using?

The simplest thing to try is adding more ram sticks. The next bet is to upgrade the GPU.

  • Why don't you run SoT and then check your pc's for what % of Ram/Cpu is being used and base what you upgrade on whats maxing out while playing the game. Most likely your ram. I'm sitting at 6-8gb/32gb of used ram % while playing and running twitch and xbox app few other things with SoT

  • @vderickv I’ve done that and its running on the recommendee percentage

  • @boomtownboss Yeah you’re right. Sorry I dont know them but I can type to you tomorrow and tell you

  • @boomtownboss Hey I found the specs for her monitor: Its an BenQ Zowie XL serie XL2411P. It has 144hz. Maybe its the hz that is causing the problem too?

No, if you aren't hitting 60fps you aren't going to hit 144. Unless you get one with gsync you're going to see stutter.

Regarding your reply, if the 700 series is anything like the 1000, the 770 will have a lot of performance power over the 750 ti.

  • @plebochino Would buy 16 GB of ram ASAP. 4 GB it just not enough. A SSD is also a must imo.

I mean, you could get a better GPU, but im wondering what your settings are? On Windows, Nvidia and the game
