Hello Sir, this must be indeed frustrating but have you tried to make a support ticket in wich you fully describe every technical aspect of yer PC? Sometimes the solution can be lying in such a small detail ...Give it a try , mate , today you have nothing but maybe you can be sailing by Monday...

  • @clumsy-george Yes i was doing allready, answer of Rare : Use PC Reparaing for check your computer -.-'

    Whats is this answer really....

They want i use one program who i need to pay fo fix some problem of my computer thats dont exist ?

  • @narko7icks

If you post your specs here, perhaps someone in the community might be able to offer some help.

If the Support ticket suggestion did not resolve your problem, then submit another one stating that there is still an issue.

  • @narko7icks
Wait Mr, i don't either know what that means since i play Xbox but maybe this man can explain...Mr Musicmee, can you help and bring clarity what Rare's message really means, @Musicmee , please?

  • @clumsy-george

Given a bit more info the community may be able to solve the issue, I wouldn't have thought Rare would have asked to use any software that wasn't free or built into Windows (but that's something to bring up with support).

One thing I would try to do is reset the Sea of Thieves game app data (don't worry you won't lose anything or any progress) if you haven't done so already following the guide below.

  • @narko7icks Ahoy there matey!

What level of graphics detail are you using in game? Your current specs suggest you should be using a medium setting to get the best out of your hardware.

  • @musicmee In game i use the more low graphic always, i turn to 57 FPS for 210 Ping, thats why i didn't understand why i get a video driver crash

  • @narko7icks Have you made sure the game is using the GTX card and not the integrated card?

I don’t know the nature of your errors, but I had to underclock my GT750m or it would overheat and crash. You have a slightly better card than me, but still old. You might try underclocking it. I did -100 MHz core clock and -500mhz memory clock. When I didn’t do this, the game would play for 10-20 mins and then crash.

Once I got that figured out, I was able to play 720p with most things set to Rare w/ shadows and lighting set to Common. I would get between 40-50fps.

  • @bran-the-ent

Yes i still use the GTX for all the game always. Normally i didn't need to underclock my GTX770 M but i will try what you say and give you feedback !

  • @narko7icks I just wanted to make sure you had that set for SoT. Some folks forget to set the correct GPU in the nVidia 3d control panel and wonder why their game doesn’t work well. Lol.

I also set the GPU to prioritize temp at 75 degrees.

  • @bran-the-ent Hi bran, i was Overclock like you told but steel have the deconnection for video driver crashed.

Not Always maybe every 10 minutes or every 5 Hours thats depends....

  • @narko7icks Hmmm... if you go into the system logs in Event Viewer, what is the exact error message given?

  • I think ive find where come the problem !

At each crash, i was checked ive this error coming : spellchecker error (eventID 33)

Ive solved this one and for now i don't get any more crash.

  • Holy heck, is that CPU 52C at system idle? I can't imagine what it is at load.

  • Im having a similar issue and cant seem to work it out.

Every time when loading into Adventure or arena it would crash and sometimes have a error message saying “video card crashed and was reset...”.

Ive tried reinstalling, updating to latest Nvidia drivers, deleting temp files, clean install of drivers etc.

Still cant load in to actually play the game! Very frustrating as Ive just bought it!

    My rig:

    • Geforce GT710
    • Driver 431.60
    • Intel i5-2400 3.10GHz
    • 16GB RAM

Not sure if it will solve it but worth a shot: try turning off Windows "fast start"... Info on how to do it here

It's something that caused me grief when I was upgrading my GPU recently

  • @stusmith96 Please open a new thread. This one was buried 8 month ago and you raised it from the dead today. Don't be a thread necromancer. @Deckhands

You are more likely to find help if the thread title doesn't say it's already solved.

  • @stusmith96 @Crimsonraziel is correct. You might want to start a new thread seeking help, rather that resurrect anything over 1 month old as it is deemed a necro. :)
    Gonna lock this one down.
    Cheers!
