Using the Environment to your advantage.

    I'm referring to the scene in the 1st Pirate's of the Caribbean movie where Captain Jack Sparrow was fighting Will Turner in the blacksmith shop. He used the bag full of dust to blind Turner kicked his Sword away then held him at gun point.

    Will accused him of cheating and Jack's response was he was a Pirate in a very "Duh ofFreakingcourse!" like attitude.

    Which is true, pirate's "Don't" fight fair.
    Doing whatever it takes to win is they're way of life.

    There isn't anything wrong with adding such environmental features to the game or the ability to disarm someone using a kick at the exact right timing because "Anyone" can use them.

    If you want examples just look around you, imagine all the places in the game and what're in them. Not difficult to imagine tbh.

    My crew and I sort of did this last night, although it was against a skeleton ship. We were at Lone Cove and were being chased by a pirate galleon. I had anchored us next to the cliff on the north eastern side (near the little platform with ladders) so that the skellies could only attack us from one side. I fired the cannons, 2 of my crew did the repair work and our 4th was on the island looking for the treasure.

    The skellies started to sail around the island and I suddenly had an idea. I remembered the scene in Wrath of Khan were the Enterprise was hiding from Khan on the opposite side of the asteroid by matching speed. So, we raised anchor, lowered the sails slightly and matched the skellies, keeping the island between us. This worked for about 5 minutes or so, the skellies still firing their cannons but only hit the island. My one crew member found the treasure and by the time the skellies turned around and came back to face us, we had fully repaired everything and managed to sink them within moments.

    Not long after we had a player ship start tailing us and we sailed right into a storm. As we emerged the other ship was gone. Don't know if they sank or turned back.
