I can’t fly a guild emissary flag yet. my hunters call guild is only lvl 2. The guild stuff is new to me. So being lvl two, is it still better to sell my fish at the seapost unless I am flying a regular emissary flag? I like to get the most gold for my fish as possible. But which is better to raise the guild level if I’m only selling HC items in my session?

Sell your fish at Seapost if you want full gold profit. Make sure they are cooked.

Selling treasures of any company, Pledge your ship to guild and sail on it. That pretty much it, the more in your guild across the seas doing the same thing also helps. (dont even have to be on same server)

Sovereigns will offer you 100% of the gold value for fish and meat.
The hunter's call at the seaposts will offer you 150% of the value.
The hunter's call raised their rewards when the Sovereigns started to accept fish and meat, to incentivize players to deliver it directly to them.The guild emissary flag will provide bonuses up to +75% with a grade 5 flag.
Grade 2 is +15%
Grade 3 is +30%
Grade 4 is +45%If you want the most gold, sell to the seaposts unless you have a grade 5 guild flag.
I believe the rep earned will be the same regardless of where you sell anything, unless of course you have a guild emissary flag, then sell to the Sovereigns.

That won't give you extra gold (or rep) for selling fish.

None of the other emissary flags will increase the hunter's call treasure. Only a guild emissary flag will provide bonuses to hunter's call treasure, if and only if you sell to the Sovereigns.
It's better to sell hunter's call items to the Sovereigns only when you have a grade 5 guild flag.If you specifically want the most gold, stick with selling at seaposts until you can get a guild emissary flag and raise it to grade 5.
If you want to earn rep for your guild to level it up, sell anything to any faction. So whatever you feel most efficient doing would probably be best. I would however suggest to do the skull of siren song quest that appears on your mast occasionally. Selling the skull of siren song gives a significant amount of guild rep and can be done with minimal effort.
