I think nearly everybody I talk to wants some kinda of real solo ship. Manning a sloop as a single player vs. a sloop of two players always end in your ship deep down below unless your some pirate master.
I had the idea of perhaps a solo ship.
- Very fast in which you control it using the rudders pole.
- Has maybe a single canon forward facing.
- Its very weak so not meant to go into direct combat but still has defensive capabilities.
- Doesn't have all the box's for changing skins and etc but still has food and planks. Canonballs must be carried in inventory or a very limited supply of them on board.
- There is no below or above deck. Just on deck eg. single level
- Doesn't have a crows nest.
- General concept art for the ship would be a Dhow.
Maybe we can open a discussion of perhaps the future implementation of this. Discussion really welcome below.
