Greetings Sea of Thieves Support,

  • It’s important to ensure that anchor decisions aren’t taken personally. You’ve shown us that galleon voyages require three votes; similarly, it would be fair for post anchors to need a vote from three moderators. This helps ensure that decisions aren’t influenced by a single moderator having a bad day or other personal issues.

Having a moderation vote for anchoring posts guarantees that the process remains unbiased and transparent. Without this system, players might feel that their posts are unfairly targeted, which could lead to frustration and a loss of engagement.

We understand that time is limited for everyone, but it’s crucial for moderators to have a structured voting process to maintain fairness and trust within the community. We hope you’ll consider implementing this system to improve the experience for all players.

    Best regards, Sea Thiever!

Hope you read this! We’re eagerly awaiting your decision on this matter. Dropping the anchor here would show that you truly care about player posts!

  • You literally posted replies to your own previous thread multiple times to bump it up...I'm not sure what you expected to happen other than getting locked.

  • I can "replies" to my self anytime and as much as i want, whats wrong with that?

  • @seathiever You can but without engagement from others it will practically be a dead thread and it will get locked when bumped. I personally haven't seen any inconsistent behavior from moderators on this forum.

    From the Forum Rules:

    Bumping Threads
Bumping threads with content that is not providing additional information to the original post is not permitted.

  • Most of the mods who anchor topics have been around long enough and follow strict guidelines. Maybe by the book they have to lock those topics because they create more negative posts than good.

  • As your post goes against the Forum Rules, it will be locked.

    Discussing Disciplinary Actions

Discussion of disciplinary actions taken against individual players is not permitted on the Forums. Topics and posts with this content will be locked, deleted and the users involved warned. Ignoring the warning will result in a temporary ban from the Forums and a final warning. If the action continues, a permanent ban from the Forums will be issued.

If the person involved wants more information or to appeal then they would need to contact Support as it is not something that can be discussed on the Forums.

For the record, I have been moderating the Forums since 2018 and have never locked/deleted/edited ANY posts out of any bias, including ones that have personally targeted me.

There are Forum Rules that I and all Moderators moderate to.

If you feel that there has been an error you can contact Support.
