Why do I have to equip my pirate legend cloths everyday?

I became a pirate legend recently and for some reason every time I log out of the game upon re entering the game I am wearing my pre pirate legend cloths every time both in the start screen and in the game. Any other things I equip or change stay but it just doesn't save the pirate legend cloths specifically. I've tried equipping them in Athena's Fortune, the ship, and at the vendor. I tried unequipping everything and reequipping it again but nothing seems to work. If I buy an item from the store and equip that, it saves. But for some reason every time I log in I have to reequip all my pirate legend cloths and my title every day. Never had this problem with anything else in the game until now.
