I know that there are plenty of people that are good at solo sloop fights and that’s great but I just wanted to give a tip for players that aren’t as good at fighting galleons on sloops.
The best way to escape a galleon is to sail directly against the wind. The sloops are much smaller and will resist the wind less than the galleon will because it is much bigger. Also you’ll need to stay out of their cannon fire so if they start to turn their ship to fire you should turn as well but yet long enough to stay out of swivel range of the cannons and then continue sailing against the wind.
The PvP in this game is not a problem and the galleons that chase down sloops are not griefers. The sloops just need to be smart.
