Presenting... Sea of Thieves: The Comic Series
The ever-growing Sea of Thieves universe is expanding once more, providing an ocean-bound opus that offers a greater insight into the game's world and the dangers that await. This time around, it's a tale destined to be told via a gorgeous multi-part series in collaboration with our pencil-plundering pals at Titan Comics.
Each issue will chronicle the misadventures of two crews, captained by a brother and sister whose intense sibling rivalry has been stoked by the promise of a legendary treasure waiting for them somewhere on the Sea of Thieves. Along the way they'll deal with undead hordes, devious traps and their own bitter histories, but which crew will ultimately emerge victorious to claim the loot?
Two of the cover designs for Titan Comics' Sea of Thieves issue #1!
With a story penned by writer Jeremy Whitley (Princeless, Thor Vs. Hulk) and brought to life by artist Rhoald Marcellius (The Incredible Hulk, Warren Ellis' Supergod), the series will spin an epic tale and present the Sea of Thieves as you've never seen it before. The first issue is preparing to sail into stores in mid-March, just ahead of the game's long-awaited launch on Xbox One and Windows 10.
Titan Comics have also released mini-bios to introduce six of their story's key characters: Lesedi Singh, Seamark and Naveed from one crew; DeMarco Singh, Rin Arai and Mele Silvertongue from the other.
