Me and my friends finished a fort, got all the loot on our ship and set sail. When we got away from the island a kraken, megalodon and skeleton ship all spawned at once. The same happened later on when a skeleton ship spawned with a megalodon. Is this normal or an issue with the spawning code? Because it’s pretty unfair to get all 3 at once

The kraken will spawn on a ship in open water if there are not fort or fleet clouds in the sky, so it's common for this to happen right after a fort is cleared. If you don't want this to happen, wait until the next fort/fleet spawns and then leave the fort.
The megalodon and skeleton ships are random, so you just got unlucky.
