Question about founder cosmetics....

  • Hello. As the topic states, I'm curious about founder cosmetics. I know I have a title and sail cosmetic having done alpha testing with the game, however they're not showing up anywhere ingame. It have been a few years since I have played, but I refused to by the game on steam as I wanted my progress from Xbox to transfer to my PC via Xbox app. Does anyone know anything I can do aside from submit a ticket? TYIA.

  • If I recall correctly, the Brave Vanguard title and sail came via a redeemable code that was sent out to all founder accounts before the game went live. I think it was sent through XBox message, so you'd have to check that it's there and hope the code is still redeemable.

  • I know I'd already redeemed them as I had them. But they're not showing up. I'll go through and check my cosmetics again.

  • @ak-paper-clock in regards to progress, all progress is tied to your xbox account, which you will link to your steam account.

    So even if you get the game on steam no progress is lost. Nothing is saved locally.

    Even if you get the game on ps5, the ps5 account will be linked to a xbox account.

    The only non transferable cosmetics are the new(er) ps5 exclusive cosmetics which cannot be used when playing on a non ps5 system and the Duke cosmetics (if you even have them) when you are playing on a ps5.

  • @CallMeBackdrafT I kinda figured. I just didn't want to purchase a game I'd already purchased once before, if that makes sense.

    Also, took a look, noticed I have the Brave Vanguard title. I can't find the sail, so I mean, that's a start and not a complete loss, so I'm not as upset.

  • @ak-paper-clock If you are now playing on PS5, the title and sails will not be available. If you play on Xbox/PC then they will.

  • @Look-Behind-You I was playing on Xbox One, but switched to PC Via the Xbox app. I see the brave vanguard title, but not the sail.

    @CallMeBackdrafT I did submit a ticket, but I guess I also forgot to mention what platform I was on/am on. Was drinkin' too much grog that night. My bad. lol.
