Not every time but several times this season I would be doing/tucking a fotd and it gets stuck on one wave, that wave has an extreme amount of skeletons and even if you kill then all it doesnt complete the wave. Makes grinding the COF undoable as we cant finish the fort. Dying and going back does reset the skeletons but the same situation where you kill them all and wave doesnt end persists. This season has just been a disaster from the start and a buggy fotd, which I dont believe had this issue until this season, doesnt help anyone enjoy the few things added so far.

Ive come across these waves, sometime I believe someone started the FotD and left, finding a large amount of phantom skeletons. Took them out with a single Sword dash (or two) and waves continue as normal.

Leave the area, sail away about two islands and come back tends to fix it.

Speak for yourself. I find finding a large amount of skeletons just sitting there funny and heck I like to see much more of these "swarms" spawn on other islands instead of just 6 :P

Leaving doesn’t do anything either. I’ve had multiple instances where I’ve died, left and came back and skeleton wave is the same. Just resets the wave, can’t complete. I’ve come across many other players who have relayed the same message i had originally put out. This season , you’re the first person I’ve heard say that fixes it. That used to be the way to fix it but hasn’t worked in weeks. On top of all that you have toxic exploiters who find a way to get under the fort and take the COF and leave.
