So, the first General Pirates got a LOT of good feedback, so I continued it, but I've decided to do more stories than just the one, seeing as a fair number of people like to read them, so I'm going to do probably 1 General Pirate every 2 weeks. However this story does tie into General Pirates so hope you enjoy. [mod removed]

A Tale of Two Kegs

On December 14th 1670, a pirate known as Chris 'Keg em' Carter, entered the Sea of Thieves, He and his crew pulled into Port Merrick, and went to 'The Captains Head" Tavern, Carters crew went ahead before him, and he stayed behind grabbing a gunpowder barrel and bringing it ashore. His crew had some drinks and talked with the locals, asking if there was a vault anywhere on the large port. Carter walked into the Tavern, bought a drink and then went over to his first mate Jed, "Where's the vault?" He asked Jed in a quiet corner of the tavern, "At the Gold Hoarders apparently..." Jed replied, "Why does it always have to be the Gold Hoarders..." Carter said putting his face in his palm, "We asked everywhere around the tavern, seems the Gold Hoarders are the only ones with a vault. " Jed said, " Aye..... if we must we must, go set the kegs, I'll get the distraction, and tell the crew to start the Rings of Powder." Jed nodded, he told the crew to pass the word about starting a Ring of Powder, and then went off to set the kegs around the Gold Hoarders building, the crew passed the word slowly moving together to form a ring, and when they were all togther, they pulled their flintlocks and started firing randomly in the air.
Jed and Carter lit the fuse to the kegs as it blew the Gold Hoarders building sky high, the tavern was distracted, and most people were asleep as it was late at night, so only a few rushed outside, Jed and Carter rushed in through the rubble and robbed the vault of a blue chest, Carter told Jed to get the crew as he ran back to the ship, Jed gathered the crew from the tavern brawl they started and they sailed away as quick as they could. Jed ordered the crew to sail then to a island called Plunder Valley, as he and Carter went into the Captains Cabin. "This is what we blew up a building for?" Jed asked looking confused... " It's just a chest with a single gold coin in it!" Carter looked at him and said, "Yes, but it's what 5 Gun John and his crew are after, and the quicker we get the coins and not them, the sooner we can get back to Jones!" Jed looked up at the ceiling and sighed, "Why is it always us that gets mixed up in the supernatural...." Carter chuckled, then Jed asked, "Do you think John even has any idea that John's might have sent another crew?" Carter looked at him and said, "No, and that's what makes this voyage such a great deal, all we have to do, is kill John, and we get payed!" Carter laughed a deep bellowing laugh.
