Long story short. We were minding our own business, we had left Devil's Ridge helping a new playing find their chest while we were doing Athena. We hung out with him for a few and gave him some tips, it was his first day. We parted and headed to Crooked Masts for a few chests, which we dreaded because Masts is a nightmare.

We did it the fastest I've ever done it when we heard canons. This sloop came from no where (We are HYPER vigilant) and didn't see them. We managed to get on board and save the ship. We had one chest in ground partially and one in the bushes and so we just went back and sent it. These dudes had 100% accuracy with the canons and sniper from extreme distances and would knock us off the ship with every shot unless we were in the hull. The just blocked the Island for probably an hour so we couldn't get back. We finally snuck in and fought them again this time one of the shot over to us and as we watched the ladders he managed to get on somehow (no sound in the water either). I killed him and we left and went back later to get the chests which were still there.
Then when we were on our last mission, they saw us and chased us. We dropped our Athena and the went after the Galleon on another outpost. The Galleon left so we went over to them (they were fighting the cracken) and asked if the sloop attacked them, they said yes, and we said we would be willing to go after them and so we did.

Just don't post the video on these forums as that is against forum policy.

I video record all of my sessions just for this purpose (and bug reporting). It's better to have the evidence than to say "I wish I had recorded that".

If your game session was without suspicious activity then delete the recording afterwards.

6 of us reported them to Xbox already for it. One dude got shot off the ship by the Galleons canon and fell behind the ship and then somehow was right back on the ship lol. I'm not bothering with Rare, I got my revenge on them.

I do the same thing btw. I always watch afterwards incase there was something I missed.

It's a sloop getting pounded by a Galleon we hired to join us in destroying that sloop because they were possibly using some form of cheat (allegedly) and were harassing us earlier.
